OK i'm jumping the gun a bit here but am planning ahead for when my fahaka (currently about 2") grows out a bit. I was planning on getting another 4x2x2 100 UK gallon tank for him, but have just been given a 40"x31"x24" tank. Do I move my freshwater community into the new tank and give the fahaka the 4x2x2, or will the new tank, which i calculate to be about 107 UK gallons suffice? I pick the new tank up tomorrow but forgot to check whether the 31" is width or height, I'm guessing that if its width it would be better but if it is height reckon it would still be OK, or not enough footprint area?
