Fading Plants

Most plants need more light.
I tend to keep mine at a 10 hours photo period.

From the photos, this appears to me to be a terrestrial plant, not an aquatic one.  Unfortunately there are fish stores that continue to sell these.  A few will survive submersed for a time, but many will not.  As the plant rots it can seriously pollute the tank, so it should be removed when that begins to appear.
