One of my 5 neon tetra's is losing alot of it's color, he hardly has any of the "red" left, and the top area is very faded. He seems perfectly fine other then the color issue. Any ideas why?

Please remove him from the tank straight away as he will infect the other fish if it's NTD,

I don't think it's NTD because he's not exhibiting any of the other symptoms, and more importantly, the symptoms that should have come before the fading are not present. It's confusing me; he's acting like the rest of them, but just faded.

do you really want to take the risk it is not ntd, without isolating him first?

I wouldn't.

I have don't have anywhere to put him. It's either he stays in the tank, or i'll have to kill him. So... i guess i'll have to "take him out".
