Well looks like i will be posting this sooner than i thought

i rushed home today after my girlfriend call to say i had 2 pups that had just been born

they are the 1st F3 P14 pups to be bred in captivity in the world

for people who don't know what the F thing is it generations i bred the 1st 2nd generation captive bred P14 now

now this time F3

I'm not sure if the pups will make it or not yet as they were born with the yolk sac

the 1st 48 hours are very important

just have to see what happens :unsure:

Congratulations, excellent news. How will you go about feeding them? Best of luck over the next 48hrs & keep us updated.
 
we have had differences in the past but really well done with the Pups :)

the pups normally take about 8 months to turn totally black even when they are not premature
 
Wow, that has to feel great to be the first to breed them. Congrats! :)
 
so i was thinking last night,

are these not supposed to be born in the yolk sack? is this bad?

are these little uns premature then?

are the rays livebearers then? i always assumed theyre egg layers :blush:
