Please Help! how do we get scratches that are on the inside of our acrylic salt water fish tank?

As far as I know, you have to drain and dry the whole f-ing tank, then use a stratch remover. :/

Sadly thats correct, and dont use the scratch remover with livestock in the tank, nasty solvents in those kits

I have scratches all over my friggin betta tank!@$@#$ It's so annoying how my cousins just love to touch the algae scrubber when theres gravel in the middle  . I think I will drain it in a week or so since I just did a 100% water change. -_-

Try using metal polish like brasso/etc to remove the scratch, polish the area hard for about 1 minute, you'll have to empty the tank though

You can remove the scratches through wet-sanding. Automotive supply stores carry wet sandpaper made of aluminum oxide. The minute amount of aluminum that leaches from the sandpaper is insignificant. Affix the paper to a cleaning magnet and work up & down, then side to side. Don't make circular motions.

Start with 800 grit, then 1000, then 1500, then finish with 2000 grit. Don't skip any of thee steps, as it will add to your labour. If you can reach the areas by hand, it will go faster and you can press harder. Exterior scratches can be finished-off with a buffing wheel and jewelers ruby compound. They make extensions for drills to work under water, but it's not worth it for one job.

Use masking tape on the outside of the acrylic to mark the scratched areas. This will limit your labour and assure you get them all.

When it's done, you won't know where the scratches were.
