eye loach, eyed loach?

Saw a loach in my lfs today and can't for the life of me remember what it said it was - something eyed loach, or an eye loach - any ideas??

Looked a bit like a yo-yo loach, but markings were different - maybe slightly broader/rounder as well. It wasn't a zebra laoch either.

Wanted to get some more info 'cos they looked good

MMMMmmmm.........not sure its the same one.

That link says max size is 2.3cm - the ones I saw were a good 3". I've been looking on loaches.com and think that they might have been zipper loaches. Markings are very similar anyway.

Acanthocobitis botia, most commonly called a Zipper Loach is also known as an Eye Spot Loach. Common names vary from place to place, and are often made up on the spot by lfs that aren't really sure what they are.

I have 5 of them, they little fish
