External Filter For Juwel 60 - 90??

Probably going to buy a Juwel Rekord 60 or 90 Litre for some Dwarf Puffers but was wondering if an external filter to run along with the included Juwel filter would go in a small tank such as that. Would this one fit? Filter Tank

It would do the job fine, but you might find the current is a bit strong especially if you got the reckord 60! Get a spray bar (not sure if the Ecco comes with one) to soften the blow, or if memory serves me right, I think you can adjust the flow on the Ecco range anyway!!

I have an external filter on my 240 litre tank and it came with two out pipes, one had the end blocked off so the water would just come out of the blow holes in the top, is it safe to use that method? Since it could damage the filter because of slower flow rate?

I agree with RVM, the ecco is fine, and my ehiem did NOT come with a spray bar, and it is best to get 1.

Have a look at the eheim classic 2211. I personally prefer the classics to the eccos.
