External Filter Advice Needed

In need of some advice,
I have just purchased a Rena 440l setup, that has come with the Rena XP3 (amongst lots of other goodies i might add incl a 4ft piece of bogwood!!)

I curently have a Ultrajet 1200 (similar to EHIEM 2226) Both are around 12-18 moths old, but which is the best to keep?

Is it worth running 2 filters in the new Rena as the old Juwel 240 setup will be sold anyway?

The tank is filled with the normal mollies, cuppies, tetra, bristlenose plecos varieties and is well planted will the usual ferns, moss etc?

Its always a good idea if you can to run two filters, just in case one should go wrong. Its a large tank, so I would run both, one either end.

I don't know which filter is best but if they both work well I would use both on a tank that size.

as minxfishy said, run 2 of them, and i would run 2 heaters on it aswell,

thanks peeps, will run both, just need new media for the xp3 then.
I have 2 300w heaters for it, more air pumps than i know what to do with (why do we need air pumps anyway???)
and 2 new tubes, although i will up this to 4, 2 blue 2 white when i can find the right light unit
