I got the 20g set up and moved everyone into it this afternoon. Had to go get a new light as the old one was blinking. I am not going to ever add up all the receipts for this hobby.

The gold gourami went right into looking-for-food mode. The only sign of stress in her was a big poop after she got in the tank. The silly neons are huddled around the stump decoration at the bottom but starting to venture out further and explore. The corys went right into looking on the bottom for food. Ottos were a bit freaked, but are latched onto the glass now. No aggression from the gourami to the corys so far, maybe the bigger tank will help that. All of them going in together too. We'll see at feeding time when the gourami is worse.

I am running the old 10g filter along with the new 20g biowheel filter. I think the water movement is a bit much for the fish, they avoided the more aerated region at first. The gourami is sampling the plants. I hope she is only checking them out and not eating them. She never messed with the plant in the old tank, but a couple of these are fern types, so maybe she has never seen that type and curious. It's not like she doesn't already chase the corys off the algae tablets and gets green in her diet.

A cory already bubble surfed on the bubble bar, so guess it's pretty happy.

I set this tank up on a 2-drawer file cabinet (after testing it with my weight on it) right next to the computer so I can watch the fish more. So cool they have more room now. :) I notice it took awhile for everyone to realize they had more room at the top than they were used to in the 10g.

The stocking full of old substrate looks kinda funny in there, but I'm hoping I can avoid a mini-cycle using the old decorations, filter, and some substrate, then transfer it all back to the old 10g when I decide what to put in there later.

I'll try to snap a digital pic of the new set up (and the 55g without fish yet but some nice plants and decorations), but you guys can tell from my earlier efforts with gouarmi photography that I am somewhat technically challenged.
