Hi....I did what I know from the medical field. I made a small ice bath and quickly immersed the fish. Was almost immediate. Freezing is supposed to be painless when done rapidly. I think that this is probably one of the most humane ways to do this. It's funny how, after starting this 'hobby', you can appreciate that they are living creatures. My angelfish seem very bright.
