erised... I agree that It is not the best link but I THINK it contains legal methods. Clove oil may be the best way but if I remember correctly it hasn't been studied therefore it is still considered inhumane and is therefore illegal. I think the website was from the american veterinary society or something.

I do agree it was good to read through. And it does have some good points ... it's just not something I'd use myself when having to euthanise a fish None the less, it was interesting

a lot of those chemicals are available via your local veterinary practice. I suggest, if you don't mind paying a little more, having your vet put the fish down. They know what to do, how to do it, and you won't feel as much guilt.
