Hello Guys

I have a poorly Angel fish, who seems to have a swim bladder problem, currently he she is swimming facing upwards. She sometimes does a 360 and ends up looking the right way but shortly after she is facing the celling again.

It look like he has an intestine problem, putting pressure on the swim bladder. At first thought it was constipation and tried the whole stop feeding for a few day and i tired the peas treatments. That didn't help, after speaking to my LFS we thought it could be a bacterial infection and i have tried a course of antibiotic and no positive results.

Do you think i should put her out of her missery ???

She doesn't look happen, she still tries to chase the other angels around.

She is breathing alot more than the other angel fish and still taking in as much food as the others as well (no loss in appetite)

P.s Water stats are good.

I would perhaps look at less food (perhaps none) for all the fish in the tank for a week or so and up the water-change schedule to perhaps 20% a day, to just make sure the water is as good as it can possibly be whilst she is fighting this off.

Sometimes a slight and gradual temperature increase can help. I would avoid medications, as they tend to just upset tanks in my experience.

I tried the no food opition for a week and did the water changes every day or 2 days. And still no improvement. This is before i did the meds.

Any other suggestions on what i should do?

as long as it seems like its eating fine and stuff I would just wait for it to die naturally..you never know if it gets better on its own, and as long as no other fish are showing symptoms its prob not contagious.
