Hello :)

My nephew as just finished of treating his platy's for gill parasites as the fish were rubbing near the gills so been treating this for 5 weeks and no improvement, the fish as no other signs like spot white or gold rusty fluke can't see any eggs or worms, so we don't know what we would try next as there are no other signs just the rubbing. I was told to use Esha 2000 as this will cover most of the problems and treat the infection. So as anyone use this as a treatment and did it work?

Yea i have used this before when alot of my fish were flicking and rubbing. And yea it worked for me, i had to extend the treatment by a couple of days, so i would recommend getting a couple of them its good to have in the cupboard anyway as it treats a wide range of things.

Hope this helps :good:

It is good as i have just treated my fish with this and it works :) like myself could not see any signs apart from the flicking and rubbing so was told to try the Esha 2000 and glad i did. There is another good med that is good if you can't see signs of illness is waterlife sterazin just order some myself. I would recommend not to use the Sterazin for all your illness's as the fish might get use to it (can't remember word looking for) and won't do any good, but it's handy to keep in your draw.

Yes it is very good.
Most places sell the 20ml bottle, but if you have a large-ish tank then it is worth getting the bigger bottle as it works out more cost effective.
If you want the link to where you can get the bigger bottle drop me a PM.

Cool Was it the Esha 2000 or waterlife sterazin your saying it's very good?

Ah sorry, should have mentioned that  it is the Esha 2000 that I have used. On a similar note if you are unfortunate enough to get a case of whitespot the Esha Exit used in conjunction with the Esha 2000 works well as a combo treatment :)

Thank's :good: So with the Esha 2000 and Esha Exit do you add the meds together or use the Exit when you finished of the Esha 2000? as you do with some meds as i after treatment. I have just ordered some Sterazin but will be ordering the Esha 2000 and the Exit as so many people as said its good.

It's good stuff. I used some because my fish started flicking and rubbing, seems to have cleared them up! I also have a bamboo shrimp and 2 cherry shrimp, they seem ok after the treatment.
Just watch out for your plants though! My green-leaf plants were ok, but my more sensitive plants with red leaves and my grass took a knock and lost quite alot of leaves
