I'm so happy - got 8 little endlers in the post today! Have put them into a tank on their own. I have been trying to get some for so long now and always get outbid on ebay. The lfs promised to keep some for me way back in May while I set a tank up and then sold them to someone else!
Well it was worth the wait - they are gorgeous.

congrats :D

Post some pics I love endlers. So pretty. :*)

My fancy guppies got to mine and now the babies all have huge fins on their backs. They are still pretty I just liked them a lot better before.

I've always wanted some endler too, meant to be alot hardy than guppys, please though don't breed them with guppys, good luck with the new arrivals.

Hi all:
Will try and get some photos soon, have got to put some new batteries in the camera and 6 of the 8 are juveniles and tiny. They also swim around really fast!
No chance of them mixing with guppies - I set a tank up just for them. I have 4 pairs so hopefully will get some babies. In the meantime I'm like a new mum - can't stop watching them.

There are very nice.

Very nice! They have some gorgeous coloring.

You'll have to keep us updated on them! :D

Those are very lovely Endlers. Have fun with them and keep us updated. :)

Well my juveniles turned out to be 2 females and 6 males and now I have 3 babies in the tank :hyper:

Yay for the babies  How are the females? I know with guppies I've found they get harassed by the horny men so fewer males to more females always seems better.

Yes I know I have too many males but getting hold of Endlers of any kind is so difficult. I will definitely buy some more females when I get the chance.

They are in a heavily planted tank so the females are able to hide. The males are busy showing off to each other most of the time.

I do have 2 other community tanks though and will move some of the males out if they start to harrass the females too much.

Congrats on your new babies, its soo exciting isnt it?
I now have 4 different pure strains (or wild type) of ELBs, Black Bars, Silver Chests, Orange Chests, Peacocks. All have fry/juveniles of vaying ages, some have just had their second drop. The 3/4 week old males are just starting to colour up, its like Christmas every morning , coming downstairs to see whats new.

I hope to get some pics up soon, have to get my camera back from a friend today and reinstall the software - ugh I hate doing all that stuff.

Any ELB enthusaists please PM me, I would love to be in touch with you.

Hi Shifting Sands - I am very impressed - I love the Peacocks. Mine are black bars I think. Do you post on Endlers R us? I tend to lurk on there but not post! I do love my Endlers - I need more tanks!
