Overhere a video of some of my Empire gudgeons (Hypseleotris compressa). One of the more beautiful gudgeons there are in my opinion.

When a male tries to court, he will turn beautiful red and will be flaring his fins.

They're commercially available. But do cost something...

They are from Australia and are pretty boring unless the males have coloured up. When they aren't showing off they have a few small black dots on their fins and that is it.

There are other gudgeons from Australia and New Guinea but you will have to search for them. Look up Mogurnda and Hypseleotris gudgeons.
