Fish Fanatic
I have one Emperor tetra in my tank along with various other community fish. There's a handful of catfish and plecs plus 3 Pristellas, 4 Cardinal rasboras, 5 platties, 3 Mountain Minnows and 1 little tetra that I cannot identify (may try and get a photo). The tetras turned up in a mixed bag when they needed rehoming. The tank is about 54 " X 18" and 20".
They are all getting along very well and are nice and healthy, but over the last week or so the Emperor seems to have decided that he/she owns one end of the tank and keeps trying to chase the others away. He/she is not getting horribly aggressive but definitely seems to be claiming terratory.
My question is, is this normal Emperor tetra behaviour or is it because there is just one of him/her? Most of the others are shoaling together.
