On Sunday I bought 2 Orange Bee Shrimp and 4 Crystal Red Shrimp on Monday I found the 2 Orange Bee Shrimp dead, today I have lost a Crystal Red Shrimp. I've checked my water and the readings are:

PH 7.0
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0

The temperature in the tank is 25 degrees and there are no other tank mates. What am I doing wrong? :-(

sorry to hear of you losses,
how long has the tank been up and running for?

what else is in the tank, what is the water hardness and how do you introduce them into the tank?

A couple of plants, two terracotta pots and some gravel same as it has always been. Introduce them by resting the bag in the tank for 10 mins then I open the bag and float for 10 mins, add some of the tank water to the bag and leave for another 10 mins, repat adding tank water and wait another 10 mins then fish them out of the bag with a net and let them free into the tank.

sounds like you've done everything right on the introducing bit, what are you feeding them?

very sorry ti hear that i dread times like that.
did you manage to get a water hardness reading?
