Do a search on it now found it,
STEP 3: Look for black patches on the fins and body along with body swelling. This is a bacterial infection called myxobacteriosis

my water stats are ok and have had no troubles they say overcrowding and poor water

In a fully cycled tank you should be showing a level of nitrate.
How did you do a fishless cycle as three weeks is a short space of time.
Can you get a clear shot of the fish?
Test your tap water from a cup and see where the nitrate level is on that.

Is the fish a bit thinner than normal? Blackening and gettting thinner would suggest intestinal worms

So this is the third clutch of eggs? The tank has been cycled for three weeks so does that mean the fish have bred 3 times since the tank cycled or have you had them somewhere before this?
If she has bred that much then she will be stressed out so would benefit from a little time out from the male. Also at an inch long i would think that a bit small.

I bought three Rams and placed them in my tank over 1 year ago. One by one, they started to go to the top pf the tank and gasp for air and eventually, they turned black and died. Not saying this wil happen as it could be different. Again, the water in my tank was very good, I put it down to the hardness of the water. No concrete proof but no other fish in the tank died, it was solely something affecting the Rams.

I would wait and see. Rams will turn a dark blackish colour and lose the other colours if they are not happy or under stress. Take some time watching them - is it being bullied? If you have a quarantine tank id put it in there and treat it with a broad range anti bacterial medicine. If it is stress it should improve once it is removed.

when my rainbow ciclids were breeding they went very dark in colour also and were shaking their heads

This is quite common in German Rams, unfortunately. They are sensitive little fish. If they are unhappy or stressed in any way, they will lose their brilliant colours and go a greyish/black colour.

Check her fins - are they clamped? (e.g. pecs clamped against her body? Tail fin tight?) - if so, she may have a bacterial infection (my German Ram is being treated for this at this very moment in time and looking much better 4th day into the course of treatment and starting to get some colour back and her fins are loosening up).

I am using Myxazin, which is for bacterial infections.

Don't lose hope just yet - if you act quickly you might just save your little Ram!

All the best - Athena
