My emerald catfish just laid some eggs about an hour ago.  I hope they do well.  I tried taking a pic but I can't get my camera to focus clearly on zoom.

Congratulations! :D

Congrats.
Keep them fat and happy and you may see spawns every couple of weeks.
Got three grown from previous spawns, and two juvi Bronze.
Started full stocking though, four juvi Angels, so now spawns, like Thursday's, means caviar!

Bad news, the eggs were just fine until I noticed tiny, very tiny white hairy worms eating them.  I googled it and it turns out it was planaria.  Normaly I never overfeed my fish, which can cause them to show up, and my gravel is very clean thanks to my catfish, but they destroyed the eggs by eating the baby fish and left just an empty clear egg with no baby fish.  I have freshwater aquarium salt so I'm going to add some of that today since that can help kill them.  Yeah planaria is harmless to fish and in most aquariums, however they are dangerous to fish eggs.  Hopefully my catfish will spawn again since it was so exciting for the fact that this was the first time any of my fish spawned.

That's a shame, but now they've started spawning they should start spawning regularly.
Give them plenty of live or frozen food, not too much to make them fat just enough to make the females produce eggs & in a few days do a cool water change, that usually sets them off.

Sorry about your loss but salt is not a good thing to add when you have Corys in the tank, and any scaleless fish.
Better to remove the eggs from the tank and put them in a breeding container etc.
Reduce feeding and the corys in your tank will clear up the planaria.
