Well i have noticed that one of my ember tetras has a rather rounded of abdomen, i've checked before feeding also and she's still rounded and no change from eating
I only have one other ember in the tank and that ones very thin and stream lined.
i was wondering if its possible shes baring eggs.

Now i would take photos, but when shes not eating she hides in the plants, or places i actually cant see her

she dont look bloated or 'fat' it looks pretty natural to me, the only problem is she wont stay still long enough for me to get a good close look
i dont want to catch her as im afraid of causing too much stress

i would just need a little help and advice of what to look for
how long she should be carrying the eggs and where she would lay them.

i could move them to a smaller tank but again im afraid it might cause too much stress
and i have other fish in the tank, that i know will eat the eggs

If she's fat with eggs that means she's ready to spawn. You could try doing a 50% water change, with cold water; that triggers spawning in most tetras.

If you wanted to raise the fry you would need a separate tank.

Has she got rounder since you've had her ? or is she about the same. Female embers are naturally more rounded that the males which are thinner annd more stream lined. It could be that you just have a pair and that she's not actually pregnant.
