Ember tetra fry

I have 8 ember tetras and that looks like an ember fry to me

Yeah I'm sure about that one it's the black and white one I'm confused about the red ones had black spots develop before the red showed up but this guy has more spots and no red. His body is shaped differently than my previous molly/guppy/platy fry and is shaped like the embers....

They are not tetras, shrimp or frogs.

They are baby platies or swordtails, most likely platies.

How could I have gotten platies from a non livebearer tank?

@Colin_T I also stopped keeping platies as well as swords two years ago

did you get any new plants or fish recently?
the babies could have been in plants or slipped in with water from another tank.

I don't know where you got them from, but they aren't tetras.

I thought platy. Wrong shape for a tetra and no adipose fin.

I did get some new otocinclus catfish.... that's probably where I got them. Thanks everybody.. free fish I guess. I'll move them to my harder water guppy tank.

Yeah I think they're platies and I have moved them to my livebearer tank
