Purchased a few a couple of weeks back, not expecting them to grow as quick as they have. How would I go about trimming them?

Is it just a case of simply cutting them to the height I want or will that harm the plant? And I assume the cuttings can be replanted?

Probably really easy answer, but I just want to make sure. :good:

Thanks. :good:

It's nearly doubled in size in just under a week. Without any help. Good job I didn't buy as many as I'd originally planned. :D

Last week i bought 5 Elodea Densa from Greenline.
From what i read in America and Brazil the plant is a pest and you should not put it down the toilet as it breeds like crazy and blocks up the Water ways. :hyper:
Read not to use flourish on it as it melts and dies, is this true.
Not had any problems with Algae since i put my new plants in. :shout:

I am a newbie and need all the help i can get.

Wont be long till i will have to trim mine as well LOL

Davey.

It's Flourish Excel that has the problem, elodea doesn't have stomata (I hope I got that right!) and cannot process Excel. A number of plants have this issue, including Java Moss.
