Elephant Nose

I just got a 3 inch Elephant Nose, what should I feed it? Can I make a ghost tube out of PVC pipes and aquarium sealant? Is it possible to sex them? If I made a cave out of PVC pipes would I ever see the Elephant Nose?

just provide some floating plants ,no tube needed.
Brine shrimp
tubifex worms
blood worms
ground up krill
and on occassion raw shrimp torn into very tiny pieces
