Electric Blue Ram - looks like fungus or hole in the head

well sad news, but not what your expecting. i did a two large water changes last night, a couple of hours apart, and one large one this morning. within 5 mins of the water change this morning, the female was dead, did not even have time to find my net and prep a water bucket, i had only fed them 15 mins earlier and happy, the male was out and about and looking so much better....i'm gutted beyond believe, i just wonder if it was too much and stressed her to death
