Allright lads!

As far as I'm aware Electric Blue Rams are a recently developed morph of the popular German Blue Ram Cichlid. I've grown fond of their vivid colouration, and I've decided to get 2 for my large tank.

This is the thing though; while searching for the Electric Blue Rams on Ebay I found this variant being marketed by the same store:

According to this there are now Electric Blue Balloon Rams too? 1st I've ever heard of them =P

Nevertheless I plan on getting my hands on 2 of these beauties ASAP =D

Just bought 2 =D; does anyone else own Electric Blues (and can tell me a bit more about their preferred foods/behaviour etc?). I can't see them being any different from the GBR's but you never know.....

saw some in a maidenhead aquatics at the weekend, they wanted £25 each, is that the going rate for them?

Quite expensive where you are then, my LFS sells them for £10 each. They are lovely colours, and as said, have the same requirements as normal rams do.

£9 on the Ebay thing; although the catch is that they're only 2cm in size.

For me thats no problem, I have a spare cycled tank to grow them in - for others though.......

Meh, at any rate I asked for a male and female; see if I can try my luck at breeding the two.....

Not yet; I'll post pictures as soon as they arrive though =)

Got them this morning =D

Seeing as they're such speedy buggers I decided to just upload pictures of them in the bags:

What you think? Remember that they aren't as colorful yet (due to the obvious stress of a new tank, plus their age - they're only babies =D)
