Id keep the tetra , if they have survived mature angles I’d leave them be . I’m no expert on overloading tanks and spiking bioloads but I do consider myself an expert on buying fish and chucking them in a tank ahahah space wise with a good layout should be fine your mid to bottom swim isn’t congested. You may need to increase the size of the water changes per week or add some floaters to soak up the n03 . But if you adamant on the EBAS I’d maybe take the pair of angles to the fish store explain they are a breeding pair and more than likely they will snatch them off you probably even pay for the new eba .. just a thoughtHey guy, thanks for the response! Very helpful and optimistic which is always nice. I’m thinking along the lines of you, buy 6 Juvenile EBA’s and add them to the tank with the Angelfish. If the Angelfish are too aggressive, I will remove the pair.
What would you do regarding the cardinal tetras. They are very large (as cardinals go) and do just fine with the Angelfish. However I’m worried adding 6 juvenile EBA’s to a tank with 2 angelfishfish and 15-20 cardinals might be overstocking?
Thanks for everyone’s responses!
