electric blu dempseys

hi all cna anyone help me out by telling me how to breed these beautiful fish? i was told by a reliable source that you need to have an albino dempsey and a regular dempsey to breed them i foun this to be a little strange but went along with it. i am hoping to breed them if possible in a very large tank plus 155 gallons but dont know where to begin. any ideas.

hey pete, you want blue dempseys? or you want to breed the ones you have now? you have to breed a blue with a regular in order to get fry strong enough to live. im not sure though how they turn blue and what you breed to make them blue. gl

thank you first of all to inchworm for moving me and thank you everyone for the other advice as well. ill do some more research to see what i can find then let everyone know what i find. as for me i dont have any blues at the moment but i am planning on purchasing juveniles and beginning the process from there. once again thanx fo rthe help everyone
