I have to say chaps, I have a Fluval 305 and I have no experience with any other, but I have to say that I am very pleased with it. It is very quiet and easy to perform maintenance on, I think it would be a little harsh to put this complete line of filtration units down to a couple of bad events.

But after saying that I have only had it for 3 months

If I bought another filter, the first place I'd start to look would be at a Fluval again.

But good luck with whatever one you get
