EHeim Filters

Just wondering what is better for a 125 gallon tank I have. An Eheim 2229 or 2208 or 2218.

A 2229 will easily cope with that. I found the W/D filters to be a bit noisy, but if that is not an issue for you, then they are very good. On big tanks, I prefer to use 2 smaller filters rather then 1 big one. Gives me redundency and simplifies cleaning.

Is there a big difference between the w/d and the 2028 or 2128? My LFS doesn't carry them, so they can't really give me any advice.

if you search around other fish shops in your area go for the eheim's, i have two 2028 they are great, have used other make but nothing matches eheim
