So, I’ve been wondering if it was worth buying one of these for a while, my usual method ends up with me draining about 75 litres and only cleaning half the tank. It would also suck up my gravel too.

So this morning after waiting for a few days my eBay item arrived. £40 all in.

Fired her up and WOW!!! What a brilliant gadget.

It pulls up the gravel but only by a few inches, sucks all the crud out and drops the stones back in, 100% perfect, 100% easier!!!

An expensive accessory but we all spend loads of cash on filters etc....

£40!? im sure i bought a cheap one for around a fiver and it sounds exactly the same!

dont use it anymore though cos i dont gravel vac now
