Eheim 2232

I was doing some research but nothing was very conclussive. Is it possible to buy a spray bar for the outflow of the eheim 2232 ecco? I find the attachment nozzle it comes with is a bit extreme.

You can purchase Eheim Rigid pipe (green) and stop ends.
They come in metre lengths. Just cut to required length with a junior hacksaw and drill some small equidistant holes along it's length.

Thank you! hopefully that should reduce the rocket jet that's going on in there right now. Would it also be possible to cut back the "outbound" shut off valve or would that cause impeller issues or possible leaks?

Not sure mate as I don't have that particular filter model, I could only advise on the spray-bar aspect as it's something I have done myself in the past.
