Eheim 2229

hi I was thinking of buying a 2229 Wet/Dry filter. for my tank but a few questions,

I read thats its only suitable for tanks with few plants....so am I guessing its a bad move for my planted tank?


and is it noisy when it fills/refills? as its going to be in my bed room

they are normally pretty quiet when running. However, there have been a few brought back into the LFS with problems. The most common problem is they drain but don't refill properly and just end up running slowly.
Just get a normal Eheim external canister, don't worry about the wet/dry version.
