Hi all,
I have a 20 gallon tall tank that has a 2213 running on it. Currently the intake is located in the back right corner, and the spraybar is in the back of the tank on the top aimed slightly upwards. My concern is that the spraybar is causing too much current in the tank. There are temporarily 13 Norman's Lampeyes in the tank until my 10 gallon finishes cycling. As soon as they leave, Rasbora Hengeli will be moving in. 5 oto catfish also occupy the tank. I am not sure if there is too much flow, all of the plants in the tank are 'dancing', the fish don't seem to be struggling but I could be wrong. To stay on the safe side i was considering modifying the way the spraybar works. My options are:
A. to point the spray bar at the back glass rather than toward the front of the tank.
B. To take a drill and put holes on the opposite side of the spraybar. I would do this by getting a drill bit and sticking it in the holes that are currently there, and then drilling through the other side.
C. drilling addition holes in the spraybar on the same side there are already holes.
D. buy some sort of different outflow pipe
Any input on this would be great. Thanks!
