Eggs?!?!

This evening we found some eggs tucked away at the back of our tank.

We wondered if anyone might be able to suggest who the parents might be and if you could give us any advice on how to care for them.

We have the following fish:
1 x Male Dwarf Gourami
1 x Balloon Kissing Gourami
2 x Platy
5 x Cardinal Tetras
5 x Zebra Danios (This seems most likely)
1 x LDA 01
1 x Red Claw Crab
1 x RTBS
2 x Serpae Tetra
2 x German Rams

maybe the rams? Are the rams constantly near the eggs?

what is teh PH of your tank?

Do you have any snails in the tank? if you do they are most likely theirs- can you describe the eggs in more detail please ?

pH is 7.4, i dont think its the Rams purely because one of them has been ill, but she hs been hanging round the eggs a bit.

Its like purple gunk with little black spots....

well, they may have laid them, being ill shouldnt affect breeding as far as I know.

If they are ram eggs, I doubt they will hatch though with that high of a Ph.
