Eggs!

corys have laid eggs on the glass only a few though, about ten. what should i do?!?!?!?!?!?!?

thanks for all the help the eggs are a cross between a sterbai and a peppered!!!
think it is best to move them into there own tank but it haas no water flow? do u have any idea of what i could do?
i dont really want to keep the eggs in there present tank because they also share the tank with a bumblebee catfish that ate 150 angelfish eggs!!!!!!

if the sterbai & peppereds have cross bred,then personally i wouldn't save the eggs...

It is not good to cross breed ,i personally would destroy the eggs.

btw wasnt my fault they cross bred there is another peppered cory so i thought they were gonna breed but one bred with the sterbai

Its just the done thing to destroy the eggs from cross breeds,there is enough cross breeds in the world without adding more to the cory world...just the way cory lovers feel...

Why do you think they have cross bred, catfishaholic? It's unusual, but not impossible, for this to happen. If it has, the eggs, and the fry that result, are abominations and must be destroyed, not raised to adulthood.

Thanks for that, but let me give you a little bit more of an explanation as to why cory fans want to keep the species pure. Basically, there are already hundreds of different species of corys and more are still being discovered as South America is gradually being explored. Many of these wonderful little fish, which have recently been found, have not had a chance to be studied and named yet. If we allow mixed breed fish to exist, we might never come to know the true extent of this natural gift.

WOW!!!! there is LOADS of corys!!!!!!
