Eggs In Filter

Just took out my filter while cleaning and I noticed there are about 7 or 8 blobs of what look like eggs. They are on the outside of the inner cartridge that slots into the bottom of my Fluval 3+

What are they? I have left them.

Can't be insects.

If they are snail eggs, I suppose I should've removed them..?

i had a snail infestation, ended up having to clean the whole tank out. There were over a hundred! I know what i'd do if i knew they were snail eggs

Those are definitely snail eggs. I have thousands of snails, I just let them roam around. Haven't harmed anything..... yet.

Well I actively remove snails when I see them and so far it's only the odd couple that I spot on plants or the glass, but I have noticed a couple of bigger ones lately so they must be growing and therefore reproducing more. I will have to get rid of these eggs then. I already find the little ones annoying.
