Eggs Have Been Layed

hi all

i got up this morning and my corys have layed eggs on my filter. i've carefully got them off and put them in a floating hatchery some of them have a yellow/orange colour to them is this normal, what do i have to to next and if any hatch what do i feed them, currently in the tank is two mollys how ever i can move them back to my main tank cause if they hatch i dont want them to get eaton.

The colour of your eggs sounds like a beige color which means they are fertile. Add an air stone to your hatchery, this will circulate the water around the eggs, and reduce the posibility of fungus to the eggs.

Food wise, you can use liquifry, but better still try and get hold of a microworm culture (e-bay is a good source). If you can't get hold of any try Hikari First Bites, it's a powder and works well.

I wouldn't put them in the tank with the mollies as they will get eaten, either get hold of a small container. IE an icecream container or a food container and float it in your tank. The best option if you can aford it would be a small tank.

i think ive lost a couple of eggs as they went furry, ive removed all the fish and ive done a 50% water change, i'm not sure which corys i have, i have 4 two are the same brown with a pink belly stripe, one's an albino and the other is light gray with dark gray patches looks like its camo'd a bad pic below.

Looks like it could be albino,bronze and a peppered?

Why did you remove your fish with a waterchange?

Its easier to remove the eggs

ive two tanks so i removed all fishes to the main tank so the eggs would have the best chance of hatching and the fry not getting eaton

this morning i checked the eggs and theye all gone furry probably cause the heaters broke the water temps gone down to 17'c
