Eggs Are Never Good

I'm just curious to know what might be going on w/ the cory eggs that are laid in our tank.
Every so often, our HUGE julii cory female will be ready to lay eggs. The males go completely spaztic during this time, and she starts placing eggs everywhere in the tank.
The tank is very well filtered and has alot of water movement/current in the places she puts the eggs, but they just never seem to be any good. The eggs sit there until well.. nothing happens. :\

Could they just not be getting fertilized? If not, then what's going on? Could the males just not be sexually matured enough or something?

Next time she lays eggs, I'll try to get pics of what happens.

Could be a lack of male juice. Could be not enough airflow over the eggs causing them to get fungus.

are you sure that there are males in the tank and not just a group of females?
it could be the water is too hard, temperature too cold, or the males or females are sterile.
Try feeding them more often and make sure they get plenty of meat foods. See if that helps.

I'm fairly certain I have some males.
And they get plenty of protein. I feed the tank frozen bloodworm almost every day.
Tank temp is 80.
Water hardness.. not really sure.

The water flow over the eggs is always great. The eggs that get stuck in the high water flow areas of the tank never get fungus on them like some of the others that get put in to the not so great areas. They just don't seem to be fertilized.

Do they get anything besides frozen bloodworms/ If not they could be suffering from malnutrition. Try offering them prawn and fish as well.

If there is too much water movement then the eggs might not be getting fertilised. The sperm could be getting washed away before they come in contact with the eggs.

Oh yes, they get more than the bloodworms lol.
I vary their diets w/ algae wafers, flakes and catfish pellet things. I also give them frozen brine shrimp as well... haven't in a while though. The cubes I have of those are kinda old, so need to go out and get more.
The reason I feed my tanks bloodworm almost every day is b/c of the bumblebee goby. It won't eat anything else and actually came pretty close to starving b/c of it.
It's a hard little fish to feed, so it's just easier to feed the whole tank bloodworm.

Anywho.... *shrugs*
The eggs that I've seen before, they appear to have something in them, but they usually just end up dying or rotting or whatever happens to them when they're not fertilized.
I dunno... I just want to have some little baby cory. They're SO adorable and I would love to have more of them.
