I got an eel {about 6-7'' long} from a friends dad and he's in my 10 gallon right now but i want to put him into my 30 cause he's obviously to big for the 10, but i have 4 dwarf congo frogs and some smaller fish like albino coryodora's algae eaters etc. and the eel we'll eat small crustations, worms, and crickets if you feed them to them, and i dont want my frogs to get eaten, so if anyone can tell me if they would or wouldn't be ok...

Frogs should be fine. It would be the smaller cories i would worry about.
Gt him out from the 10 asap because they are jumpers, and in such a small volume it wil be inebitable. 30g wont be sufficient either. :(

What eel is he? Take a look at some good profiles in the fish profiles sectiopn and give us some feed back as to what u have! :) Hope to hear back soon! :p

He's a Peacock eel, it says he'll grow to over 10 inches,
And they jump?

Yes, seal all openings that he can squeze out of whilst he is in the 10. BUt you WILL need to move him asap. A 55gallon will be preferrable. The 30 will not do im afraid... :no: . Is he eating?

They are very rewarding fish to keep, and mine is a character, i hope yours is too! :D

he seems to be eating ok, he's in my 30 now i've been keeping an eye on him with the other fish but he seems to be doing ok {hasn't attacked anything}
my brother has a 55 gallon and a 125 gallon and he said i can relocate him to one of them if i want, but i would rather get one myself but maybe not right now, and i also have many other fish in the tank but mainly i have a algae eater thats about 5-6'' inches and mainly i have a Red Belly Bacu and it and the eel get along really well, and any input i can get on it {Red Belly Bacu} is appreciated they say it can get over 10'' inche's and thats way to big for the tank and and
so tell me whst do i think...

Perhaps start a new thread about your red bally pacu in the Oddball section of TFF! That wayyou will get more people helpig you!

pacus can (and will) grow to about three feet. You'll need at least 200 gallons for a full-grown pacu, so good luck.

errrrr wrong!

RED belly pacu stay alot smaller and max out at around 10"

the BLACK pacu grow to 2ft. and would require more like 500g's
