Eco Therm Heater

So I've been given one of these heaters, he was just going to throw it out, but it rattles. Now I reckon it shouldn't do that but was hoping someone here who has one could confirm that.

When does it rattle ? When its in use, or just when you shake it ? (thats probably nothing to worry about)

I haven't used it and probably won't for a while. It just rattles a little when handling it. The heater I use is a fluval and makes no noise which is why I'm questioning it.

Im sure its fine ... if in doubt, chuck it in a bucket of water and test it before you need to use it !
