Quick water tests on Friday showed my nitrates droped to under 10 so I picked up number 4 fish a small pretty bi-colour Blenny I will pop a vid up later once its dark

Hmmmm another elusive fish here is a vid there are a couple of glimpses of the blenny

Just done todays water tests and must say I had to recheck them

Both phosphates and nitrates are very very low I am well and truely converted to MM no skimmer

Admitadly my stocking is very low a pair of clowns a bi-colour Blenny and a Blue assesor

Open top tank so no wrasses or jawfish was looking at scissor tail dartfish ideally I want something quiet active like redspot cardinals I would get 5 -6 of them if they lasted in captivity

No would only get 1 or 2 dartfish

isnt the scissor tail also a bit jumpy? maybe you could use some kind of netting over your tank to stop the carpet surfers.

They can be but less risky have also been looking at blue eyed cardinals

now those are cool little fish

Cardinals in tmc hopefully will have 3 - 4 good ones on pay day


Sold on my bubble as it was getting to big for the little tank

So picked up some high colour zoas an ultra hammer and a nice piece of purple challice

will add some piccies once they are all settled
