unfortunately i might have to sell my electric blue jack dempsey...... the tank its currently sharing is getting a little cluttered as the ornatums are growing and i feel something has to go.
ive had him/her from a tiny juvi and the EBJD is currently about 3.5 inches and getting big and chunky quite fast. these fish arent that commonly available and if you do find one then it will be tiny from lfs.
its in perfect condition and very healthy and for an EBJD is now very out going and always first to the glass for food, i dont think it will be long before it accepts food from your hand.

im open to offers on this fish and it must be collected, sorry no postage so please dont ask.

Matt.

When i read it i thought to myself "i wonder if he's expecting a reply from me", obviously were =P The title doesnt say Jack Dempsey Enthusiast for nothing. I'm very very tempted, enough for you to provisionally say he's mine if you do sell ;) Need to find some funding though :p

he was but then i decided to keep the EBJD....

im still unsure if i can keep him or not tbh as my 240l its in is pretty full with 6 ornatums, 10 colombian tetras and the EBJD. i am upgrading their tank to a 6x2x2 in august/september which will be fine until they all reach full size then that will be too full with 7 fully grown cichlids at about 10 inches each

i dont really want to sell it but i cant see me being able to house it properly long term and the 6x2x2 is all about the ornatums

anything can happen before they all reach full adult size and i might even end up with troublesome ornatums that need to be moved on to keep the group happy, or hopefully a breeding pair :hyper:

i know if i do sell the EBJD i will regret it amd the only other thing that stopped me before was the wife as its her favourite fish.....

i can set up a temp tank untill you make your mind up if you want mate

Tell me about too many cichlids in a 4ft tank lol. My tank is looking erm - full.

4ft tank with 2 Jacks, 1 Cupid, 1 Rotkeil Sev, 2 Geo Brasiliensis, 1 Firemouth - eek, thats without noting my 2 plecs and dithers. I have other tanks to spread them out though luckily.

You KNOW you'll regret letting that Jack go. I'd be gutted if you did lol  No way Keith will want him ;) I shouldnt even tempt that idea! No, don't!...but keep the Jack!!!!
