Hard to tell mate, could be but most females have no colour at all, google it mate. I hope it is female tho.

Yeah the last girl I know I had was white so I'm not sure either but it is a lot duller than the other with very feint markings compared to the other

Just keep an eye out mate, if the colour gets any more pale then it's male and prob a bit stressed, if it stays the same then you might be lucky. Hope all goes well.

Yeah I've had these in my old tank for about 3 months and they have always looked the same I moved them to my smaller tank and they seem to love it much more active than they were in the old tank

ok im having an ammonia problem that i cant quite unerstand.
when i started this tank i took filter pads from my old tank (still running and all tests are good) and put them in the new tank so it should all be cycled from the beginning but im having ammonia in my tank the only occupants are my 2 badis and a single shrimp ive changed the water today hopefully this has bought it down slightly i shall do another test in the morning and do another half water change but i dont know whats caused it??
