Hi all

Since ordering a couple of corals from a seller called "coral_world" aka Matt from Gwynedd, Wales, he has received 14 Negatives!!!!! in 10 days!!!

Unfortunately we are one of the customers in dispute with him. I use the word dispute losely, cus you need to get replies from someone to be in dispute!

Just wondering if anyone actually knows this person, and if so could you pm me please.

Thanks

No pleasing some people lol

depends what board setting you have

Sometimes patience is the key in an ebay dispute.

If the person is an honest seller then his reputation as a seller is more important than an individual transaction.

There may be genuine causes for his lack of activity. How long has the transaction been in progress? anything less than 2 weeks is a bit early to be classed as disputeable.

As a regular on ebay as both seller and buyer it always seems the case that my isp will go belly up just following a run of sales. Just when people are expecting the main correspondence to start. Its sods law.

Await the reply and listen fairly to the reasons if any for the let down. If the reason is genuine then rearrange a date for delivery. If not either politely ask for a refund or replacement.

Its too easy to start using aggresive language too early in the dispute which doesn't help the situation. Not all negative feedback is due to poor service. Some buyers just complain for the sake of it.

Ok i've just reviewed the recent feedback for this guy and 3 of the complaints are from a single person.

I think its one of those things though, live items being transferred in the mail. I've always been unlucky but others haven't. If any items are reeived in poor condition then photographs should immediately be taken as proof of a doa coral. The seller should be contacted immediately also just to start the ball rolling. Be patient though. If a few days pass without reply then send a message asking for a response in regard to the matter. Again wait a few days. Write again and state your intent to open a paypal dispute using your photographic evidence as proof. Ebay will be able to access any correspondence through their site. If the buyer responds outside of ebay via standard email for example then keep copies of these emails just in case.

I think Big C had an issue once and i talked him through the process of ebay dispute and it was amicably resolved. In his favour i believe to the tune of bigger frags or extra frags.

Hi Mutantbigman

This seller has just been lying through his teeth. The items didn't turn up on the day agreed, then he wouldn't answer emails. I caught him by asking him a question about something else using a different ebay account. He answered that! So then i revealed what i really wanted. He then made up the usual excuses and agreed another day for delivery. Guess what? It didn't arrive and now he wont answer any emails.

People like this are the ones that ruin it for everyone else. Unfortunately he'll probably just create a different account when the heat dies down.

if he genuanly sent it then ask for the shipping form to be faxed or email'd to u dude. if he dont send then report straight to paypal then to ebay.

Paypal dispute already in progress :good: He definately didn't send anything. He has now received 16 negatives since 11 March!!! All have disputes in :good:
In all the years we have used ebay we have never had a problem, until this year. Have had to make 2 paypal disputes in 3 months.

I've noticed a marked increase in sellers of Bettas too! All imports though. Ship em in for £0.80 - £1.20 and sell em for £12 - £20. Noticed as well that a lot of them dont even quaretine them either, just get em in one day, sell em the next
