Reason I ask is that my ph often reads close to the bottom of my API scale (co2 injected with low kh) and I have reservations as to the accuracy at that end, especially as this doesn't tally with my JBL ph test kit (which I suspect might be superior).
So are these Chinese imports any good? For about £20 you can get a pen with two calibration solutions and they appear, on paper at least to be quite accurate with a resolution only required by some sort of scientist! It appears some also have replaceable probes.
Anyone experienced these? I can see they are really convenient but I am not too sure how long they last. I believe the probe can be cleaned by dipping in an acid solution but suspect this can only be done so many times...
