Which would be the best easy to keep plants on a gravel bottomed tank. Different sites give different views so thought i'd ask some people.

Hygrophila polysperma, i used to have it on a gravel bottomed tank at it grew soooo fast it was unbelievable. The fish loved it, but they couldn't eat it as fast as it grew, and these are goldfish we're talking about!
I'm going to be getting some soon for my PFK aquacube, thanks to George! :D :D

cheers,

I had seen that link before but it doesn't say how well certain plants grow in gravel

I have grown most of the plants listed with just common aquarium gravel. They do better, however, with a fine-grade gravel (1-3mm) or a plant substrate, but with the addition of rootabs, they should do well.
