What would be the easiest plants to care for? Would be planting a 10 gallon and 15 gallon. Both tanks have pool filter sand as a substrate. Just set them both up today so I'm not in a rush to go out and get plants. Just want to know what my options were. The 10 gallon is going to be used as a betta tank (it has a DIY divider so I'm planning on two if it holds up lol) and haven't even figured out what I will be putting in the 15 gallon. Almost leaning towards dwarf gourami's but still not positive.

Easy to grow plants aren't always easiest plants to care for as they can grow quite fast and without regular maintenance can take over your tank,  Cryptocoryne plants are quite low maintenance as are Anubis, and Java Ferns, Hygrophila  are good if you want a nice background plant.

Vallis
Crypts
Moss Balls
Java Fern (attach to some Driftwood or Ornaments)
Anubias (attach to some driftwood or Ornaments)
Java Moss (attach to some driftwood or ornaments)

They require little to no extra care :)

For your Betta, the Anubias would be a great addition as Bettas love to sit on their leaves.
