Easiest Fatest Water Changes

I use an python type system for my big tank downstairs and it works very well. For my tanks upstairs though, I'm still lugging buckets up and down, and it's preventing me from upgrading or adding new tanks.

Any suggestions for an easy way to do water changes upstairs? There are no bathrooms or water sources upstairs at all. The nearest would be down the stairs, through the living room, and into the kitchen.

100 foot hose? Seems throughout this topic the one consistent piece of equipment is a length of hose.

Its what i use for my daughters 100L in her bedroom. Out her window and down to the garden tap. Although with one fancy in it it hardly needs massive water changes at the minute.

How about this...... A three way valve on your inlet line to your external filter...these valves can be used as 1, straight flow ...tank to filter.....2, change to tank to drain ..3, either fed back thru the filter to the outlet ( this way filter will suck water back in ) into the tank or back thru the inlet ( if you're going to use water direct from your tap....)
