I've been searching for an adhesive to bond plastic to glass and came across this. Has anyone had any experience of using this in an aquarium?

Thanks.

You can use any superglue as long as is 100% cyanoacrylate.

i cannot find this to be the case with E6000 to be honest, so am not 100% on that for aquarium use.

There's a nice long section on aquatic toxicity of it's primary ingredient. Tells you toxic levels and duration of exposure for 50% life loss.

It also lists as mildly water soluble.

Personally, I'd tend to avoid, but it may be my being overprotective.

That is excellent DrRob, I was trying to look for something like that for E6000.

Seems to contain mostly Tetrachloroethylene, which I personally would avoid for use in aquaria, thats just me though.

Thanks for the info guys. Apparently, some reefers use it to repair their sumps so I wonder if it's only toxic before it cures.

Although superglue is aquarium safe, I'm not sure how effective it will be. I need a watertight bond between glass and a PVC pond liner - any ideas?
