I saw the Microsoft presentation and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw, so much so I'm going to buy the updated Xbox ready for Kinect.

The 3DS looks awesome as well, what did you enjoy and/or are looking forward too...

GOW3 also looks mental..

E3 was just a bunch of people drooling over 3D crap.
New xbox looks OK.
Kinect looks kinda dumb and the latency would annoy me quickly.
3DS may be cool if there are some games that don't suck for it.

i ecstatic to see twisted metal making a return. announced at the end of the sony presentation.
i am not sure what to think about nindento's new 3ds. i was originally against it, but after learning glasses will not be involved...i am still on the fence about that.

since i have never owned an xbox at this point i have no opinion on it, but the new technology has me intrigued.

I only saw the xbox stuff but in my opinion all I can say is I feel sorry for nintendo.

I mean since the wii came out, how many people have broken their tvs by flinging controllers into them...

wow i have fallen so far behind in computer games and such since i started fish keeping lmao

did not even know it was e3

3DS OOT remake... First thought being, there aren't enough buttons! And involving the touchpad seems to be asking for trouble.

Still seems a bit annoying, they've pretty much only just released the DSi/DSiXL, I don't see why they have to jump in with something essentially the same so quickly.

I can't imagine the latency would be worse than a dare I say Wii.

Horrifically bad on those "game consoles", I was impressed with the dancing although I imagine it isn't as easy as they show and if the moves are as perfect it just won't register.

I've always been an xbox man, however since the price of games has always been extortionate I've never quite been the first to jump onto new releases.

Go PC gaming, much cheaper games.

But if you want to constantly play on the highest graphics you are going to need to upgrade your PC which is a length cost..

I spent around £800-900 on upgrading my pc back in Feb 2008 and it still plays most games on the highest settings. Will need upgrading in a year or so though

Indeed, the newest game I've got is Gothic 2- even Gothic 3, which isn't exactly requirement hungry, won't play on our PC, and where's the point in spending multiple hundreds on a new one when it does everything else just as well as a brand new system?

At least once you've got a console, you can play all the games for it perfectly well until it breaks in a haze of short circuits.

yes, but i dare say you have a computer as well ace? as you are typing on it on this forum...

so therefore, you have the cost of your computer, and the xbox and all the games, accessories and what not.

where as, i can surf the net, do all my work, and play games all at the same time! so IMO it works out about the same.

my comp cost £400 3 years ago and still runs most games. the only one i cant run is Battlefield BC2. my computer was custom built so is not as quicly superceeded by all the new dell, microsoft rubbish.

plus it has sound responsive built in neons for the loud music...

But that is at bad specs I can bet.

I do enjoy computer gaming thoroughly also, (Will buy a new computer for Diablo 3), but my point is Consoles are more profitable for a gamer and have better exclusive games. Also you can surf the net on consoles, you can do all that you mentioned on Mobile Phones as well, having a computer is not special nowadays and the gaming market for PC's is declining.

i can play pretty much all games on the highest quality.
Custom built doesnt mean rubbish mate. some of us know what we are doing. and how do you know what profession my family is in... We know a hell of alot about computing.

A family member runs IDSEC up in harrow and has done alarm system for many banks... You cant tell me they would employ an idiot!

Remember the orange phone network was down for about a week a year or two ago? That was because of their shoddy computer secutity systems. they said 'no one can hack into our system' so a family member did and crashed the whole network. then they paid him to install some propery secuity.

Think my computer beats pretty much everyones!
